Allowing to be lead off topic also can distract from points being made. How does not fulling knowing abiogenesis make a difference to cats being a variety of vertebrates and lions being a variety of cat? Are you saying just abiogenesis needs a mind?

So far they've found that organic molecules could come about since they mostly just mean having carbon and have developed self replicating material. Do you need to keep pushing the goal post?

That matter has tendencies should make the proving of a natural Abiogenesis much easier. Abiogenesis should be reasonably easy in a controlled environment.

Yet it remains an unattainable issue.

Here is an off topic tidbit: Corn has been extensively mutated and crossbreed for 7000 years yet modern corn can still crossbreed with its original grass. I thought that was cool.

It seems broj was talking about cliams that evolution disproves creationism. I think the claim is about the origin of species, not origin of life. modern cats are just new varieties of ancient cats. Does origin of life matter to make baby cats?

Why does it need a mind in the first place? we don't know any need for a mind. there are just tendencies of matter.

even the entire scientific method was wrong, it wouldnt open the door for god. you have elminated nothing, and god withstands no form of scrutiny so it certainly wouldnt be what was left.

Yes, "only a matter of time..." if I had a nickel everytime I heard that blurb. At a major university they said they would prove abiogenesis in five years. That was seven years ago and now they are HOPING they can get it in 20 years. Sounds like faith to me.
