    Oh please, no! I had nightmares about Super Ghouls and Ghosts... and it wasn't because the game featured Ghouls and Ghosts. Also, I personally think that the NES version of those games, Ghouls and Ghosts and Contra (1988) were harder... well in Contra you could always use the Konami code... so scratch that one. But NES games were hard as fuck, that's for sure.

    More frustrating that some first gen NES games, like landing the plane in Tip Gun? ... Well, I guess it is in a way. Some NES games were hard because the controls were unresponsive, or it was confusing to play. But Super Meat Boy's controls are very smooth, and the graphics make it clear what you are supposed to do. So, in a way, loosing in Super Meat Boy is more of a matter of personal skill than the control's limitations...
