There must have been the rumour that the founder of 金(Kim/Jin) dynasty originated from Koguryeo during the 淸 (Qing) dynasty : I think it was because the birthplace of 金 and 淸 was Koguryeo territory and Nurhachi was raised in modern north Korea.
By stressing that 金 dynasty was Shilla origin, the royalty made sure that 淸 (Qing) dynasty was direct Shilla royal descendant.

'The Forbidden City' on the posted pictures are original building before it was damaged by the Chinese government.

Some or many parts of The Forbidden City have been destroyed and badly remodeled by the Chinese government.
They wanted to destory it totally because it is not theirs own.

  • Manchu people are CHINESE,and we are prond to be Chinese.

Our history actually is nothing to do with your Korean dogs! So stop barking here.

  • if you think you are chinese, you are chinese, not the descendants of the Jurchen tribe nor old Manchus. The jurchen tribe was part of Korean. so JIn and Qing don't have anything to do with you Chinese.

  • the socalled manchu in modern chinese don't have much with the old manchus of Qing empire. They don't use old Manchu language nor practice the old Manchu traditions. They are simply one of Chinese that occupy more than 98 % of the inhabitants in modern Chinese land.

  • I really don't care you fake manchurians. There still many of PURE DESCENDANTS OF QING EMPIRE.

  • Mt. Baekdu wasn't Jurchen's holy place until 16th century, this is another indication that one of Jurchen faction came from Korea. Nuruhachi is real name, he was born and raised by Korean culture, he's MA teacher was Korean. But I don't see him as great Han leader, because he killed his own people to become emperor.

  • With the fall of Koguryeo and Balhae, the Hans under Koguryeo and Balhae divided into so many small tribes and lived with no central government. The Jurchens are one of them. I think, since they didn't have any influntial and powerful leader to teach them where they came from, they hardly knew the precious meaning of the White Mountain. I doubt so many small tribes that separated from Koguryeo and Balhae have their own identities as Koguryeo and Balhae descendants now.

  • @everstarshanghai As a Korean I agree. I think most koreans would agree that you are distinct from Koreans but since your ancestors lived practically next door to states that were considere Koreans its quite possible that few Manchus could have Korean ancestry(koreans who mixed with the Jurcheds).

  • Jurchens/Manchus hated Chinese so much, they had to exterminated many Chinese as they could.

  • Sensei = 先生 = 선생, i think.

    Ninjutsu= 忍術 = 忍(者)+術 = 닌자 + 술법

  • If you are proud to associate yourself with the Chinese... my gawd this just proves what the Chinese are doing with brainwashing people from schools to public events is really dangerous and effective.

  • hey I'm Manchu and I'm proud of my heritage

but one thing i can tell you: I'm definitely NOT

    Korean!!!!
