5.11 Softshell Review

My (somewhat drizzled-upon) review of the 'Sabre' softshell jacket produced by 5.11

Apologies about the rain noise in this one, I had cling film draped over the camera to protect it from the weather. Unfortunately the droplets falling on the plastic produced a bit of a noise that I couldn't tell was being recorded while I was conducting the actual review.

@TheJaaysog I'm actually not a fan of a lot of velcro myself, issue field jackets for example have a lot and I wear those every day and just find it a bit of an annoyance. Keeps the noise down too when it comes to making various adjustments. Each to their own though.

@CKinnerley Perfect sense i do see what you mean yes, the only thing that i don't like about that jacket is theres not enough velcro, otherwise very nice.

@TheJaaysog See there's multiple ways you can read this sort of thing. I'm not saying that Helikon is bad, I think their stuff's alright overall, good for the price. But then 'good for the price' also applies to 5.11, and since it costs more, that just means it's going to be built that bit better, purely carrying on with that same statement. Hopefully that makes sense.
