******TIPS******
Use new nail polish! The newer the better. If it's old it will be more goopy and wont work. Also make sure not to use any quick dry nail polish because it will dry before you can get it on your nail. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions! :)

  • what kind of nail polish are you using????

  • @MirandaSmith100 I'm using L.A. Colors in this video

  • I try this with 2 of my wet n wild nail polishes and when I make patterns with my toothpick, all the nail polishes goes to the toothpick. I used room temp. water (30 min) The nail polishes don't really flow, they stick together. My nail polishes are new.

PS. I'm not saying this is your fault.

  • @BeautyFashionTalent Have you had the nail polish for a while? I found if it is old or goopy it doesn't work so well. Also try to go fast so it doesn't dry too much. I would try getting some new polish, and maybe a different brand. Hope this helps! :)

  • @BeautyFashionTalent i had the same problem then i realised that i waz drawing my pattern to close to the edge try drawing your design closer to the centre and see if that helps (hope so) !! :)

  • Polishedintgecity @blogspot

  • Thank you for following on Twitter , u noticed your bulls eye didn't build up as much, if the water is room temp and u see the polish trying to spread give to cup a little wiggle it'll help. Also petroleum jelly works well instead of tape.

  • Marbling seems to work better with some of the higher end polishes. I've tried with a bunch of different brands and China Glaze and OPI work well. So does Milani. Also, you can use petroleum jelly instead of tape, and it's recommended to use a toothpick to clean up the polish around the nail before you pull if out of the water. If the water is too cold it may cause the polish to congeal too much, making it more difficult to pick up a design. Hope this helps some of you!

  • @lauralyla Really? I tried doing this with my L.A colors and the colors wouldnt spread out & the design didnt work! ):

  • I tried it and it worked on my thumb then i seemed to not be able to do it again...

  • Very cool. I will definitely have to try this some time.

  • That's so cool :o
