Time-lapse video of a portion of the Nebraska Zephyr's trip to TrainFest 2011 from Union, IL to Savanna, IL. Unfortuantely the trip from Savanna to Rock Island was all in the dark. :)

Maybe I have missed the point.....to me, its too fast, and after Davis Jct, he records the video on the dark side......why would you do that? 90% of railfans know you shoot on the sunny side..no shadows...to me, the video is too fast, and I cant stand that music....too repetive.... Use classical numbers..not pop rock junk.
And Im wondering..why did he move to the middle of the train? The cab shot was much better....did the crew ask him to leave for some reason? The cab footage ws the best..

@Metracab123 Thanks! You might have blinked and missed Garden Prairie. ;) The section from Union to Rockford wasn't cut at all, however, long boring stretches of corn and soybeans from Rockford to Savanna were edited out.
I've got another "railfan" version (currently rendering) that's about 20 minutes long and is uncut, although there are small gaps due to repositioning the camera, or other logistical issues. You might be able to see Garden Prairie in that version. :)
