DarDuKalaya is daughter of King BaYintNaung. She was born when putting DatTaw to Pegu Maha ZayTi Pagoda & so, King named her DarDu-Kalaya. She is distant aunt of NatShinNaung who is poet & likes to drink Portugues wine. Later he was killed by King (son of BaYintNaung) as traitor for messing up with Portugues. His & Kozinya De Brito Portugues grave yard are still in Salwin, I think. When I was young I visited to their grave yard that close to Shew Mu Daw Pagoda.

Thanks. I love this story told by my mum when I was young. Nat Shin Naung was younger than Dar Du Kalayar & he sent love poems to her . I visited his ruined grave in Than hlin( Salwin ) when I went back home, in Burma.
