@ashkenaz I have to agree with you on this one. The seams are pretty smooth, but there's not a lot of admixture going on here. Just switching back and forth. I like it, but I keep hoping for something more than just a gimmick.

מוחל די מציאה. While Yiddish fusion can be a fine and many-splendored thing (consider, for example, the Klezmatics), I'm afraid that the Klezmer Mountain Boys falls short: their music veers from fairly authentic klezmer to fairly authentic bluegrass without fusing the two in any meaningful or, for me at least, enjoyable way. A worthy effort but farfaln in the end.
