I. Allegro II. Adagio - Più adagio - Presto III. Allegro molto Recorded: Royal Festival Hall, London, 5 December 1973 BBC Symphony Orchestra, Pierre Boulez
Wow! I was there, and never thunk to hear it again,(altho it seemed a later year, but my memory is not so precise for dates). About that time in London there was an unusual rash of Bartok 2's, and shortly before, Boulez conducted Ogdon, which i also heard. But this was the finest of the crop, Anda's experience and affinity making for an exciting & satisfying experience.

Was this released on LP with a closeup of the keyboard on the cover? Or was that another recording...

The best piano concerto ever written!!! Though I prefer Anda's earlier interpretation under conductor Ferenc Friscay. I am not a fan of Boulez....
