This is my favorite sequence in the time travel 'Action/Drama movie, 'Frequency' and it is a turning point in the film as well.
John Sullivan has been communicating into the past with his father on an old ham radio, this is due to the disturbance of radio waves from a rare Aurora Borealis over New York City.
This is a crucial moment. Frank Sullivan (His father) has to make a decision. We see John with his buddies having a 30 year memorial reunion and suddenly the memories of a life he never had with his father come back to him. This is because Frank ultimately heeds John's earlier warnings and saves himself and a young girl in the fire.
Very dramatic!

  • Backdraft vs Frequency. who would win?

  • @MrAlcazar The fire scenes in this was was terrific, and packed a very emotional punch, but I guess I would say Back Draft, since the entire film revolved around fire fighting. I haven't seen that movie in years. But I have such a soft spot for this movie and all the time travel/family elements.

  • I'm talking about of why they never made a soundtrack to it. I love the score.

  • This score was very powerful, some of my favorite movies with beautiful music have yet to released too. It's a shame. I love this scene, it's so powerful and it does make you cry.

  • The second his dad changed paths, the memories would have been instanaenous.

  • I think the movie did make them instantaneous, but for the viewers sake and aesthetics they did this whole parallel scene. I think it was very well done, exciting. :)
