cloth is the worst. Measures cloth. You have to change the diaper the minute after she goes. Waiting even 5minutes will give her a rash

I use baking soda to clean my cloth diapers. Try it out, perhaps it will be more gentle on his skin. Also I noticed when I stopped using creams all together (because they just keep the area moist and you want a dry bottom) I stopped getting diaper rash. I expose my sons bottom to air for at least a minute during a diaper change and don't put any vaseline or creams of any kind, and we have been diaper rash free for 4 months!!! Good luck! :)

Use zinc oxide ointment (some examples are Zincofax, Penaten Cream, Zinaderm, Desitin Diaper Rash Ointment, Prevex-Baby Diaper Rash Cream) or petroleum jelly (an example is Vaseline) to protect your baby's skin from moisture.
