Here's a quick preview about how my EP will sound like.
This sample is mixed by my right hand Worros from Internal Aeon ( http://www.myspace.com/internalaeon ) ,who will be the sound engineer of my debut album.

This is probably a retarded question, but have you ever considered switching to a 7 string? they offer a little more range and my rg7321 has decent tone thru a line 6. (i plan to go with a peavey valveking half-stack when i get some money, but just throwin that out there.

@freaxxx True that. I have the Spidervalve MKii and that thing is so awesome. Real tube crunch from that beastly Bogner power and pre amp tube sections. True tube feel, modeling flexibility, fucking rocks dude.

@xGUITARZEROx Don't go for the VK. Get a good 2x12 Cab and a Spider Valve. If you don't have the money, go for the Spider IV. Both offer more clarity, adjustable noise gate, different settings for different guitars, built in tuner and stuff like delay and different flavours of reverb. Makes life so much easier on stage. I'm a big fan of peavey gear and guitars, but the VK is no better than any good modeling amp. Low quality tubes < high quality solid state. Owned all 3. VK < S4 < Spider Valve
