Of the 3,600 films submitted to the 56th Berlin International Film Festival, this video won the Green Unplugged Film Fest People's Choice Award.
This film is about the hunger and poverty brought about by Globalization. There are 10,000 people dying everyday due to hunger and malnutrition. This short film shows a forgotten portion of the society. The people who live on the refuse of men to survive. What is inspiring is the hope and spirituality that never left this people.
I will have to agree about the music; it was distracting. But it was, I suppose, a statement as well. When we watch videos, most of us expect things to be polished, a la Hollywood. I believe that we have to question that expectation in light of the fact that the market economy model has resulted in a gaping chasm between the fed and the hungry. And what could be more commercial than Hollywood? It's my expectations that need to be reviewed here, not the music. Mabuhay ka, Ferdinand!

Sad and ridiculous, why must "we" have to watch these kind of movies once and a while to remind us how f***ed up the world is?
And then "everyone" gets sad for a couple days (or hours) until someone reminds us again.
Is there really will to change?
Instead of crying think about what needs to be done, "there is too much lack of love in this world"
Anyway, the music gets annoying when the singer "cries", it draws attention from the message.
