Sel- Okay. Maybe itll help take my mind off things.

SDad-*watching the news on tv*
Reporter-Breaking News; There has been a crash on hwy. (insert a local hwy). A silver Nissan Sentra collided with a red Ford Fusion. There was one woman in the Nissan and she is being rushed to hospital, well have more on her condition after, now with (your local weather guy) with your long weekend forcast.
SDad-Shit!!!Patricia!!(thats her name) Selena! Come with me!!
Sel-where are we going, dad?
SDad-No time for questions, Lena!!!!!

That night, they went to the hospital to get their final words with Selenas mom. She told them both how much she loved them, and to never doubt that.

Selenas POV
Life ever since May 16th, 2008, has been a living hell. Since mom left, dad became a bit of an alcoholic, and he began to beat me. I guess you can call it child abuse. Youd think Id atleast have school to give me a break from hell, but NOPE!! Im a complete loner, I have no friends to run to, no shoulders to cry on, no nothing. When that red Ford took my moms life, mine went too.
