Of course - no offence meant at all. Interesting...I realized now that the right hand also, (particularly at 00:38) resembles Chopin's melody in the Prelude. It may have been present in your subconcious mind at the time you were composing it. Just a thought...

You are the first to say that, but it's OK, so is Gershwin's prelude #2... As a matter of fact, there are lots of such influences in music all over...
