'Lola', Carrie (who decided to go by "Georgia" at the time of this video), Emma and I go to the Monterey Bay Aquerium, then to a beach in Pacific Grove. Everything looks way better on my computer, the YT format killed all my pictures.

  • Lots of great scenes in this video. But you got bitched on the screen shot (an almost completely black frame in the exact middle).

Maybe you know this by now... Soon after uploading, find and watch your own video. Then you might want to adjust it by adding/removing just a few frames and upload again. youtube will automatically generate a new video icon and hopefully make it more representative of the video.

  • That takes so long, though. And I'd have to reformat it to WMV, which would be another 20 minutes tacked on.

  • I agree, the camera was handled very well. Alternating dynamic footage with still shots was an interesting and effective twist on the presentation, too.

And we can't forget the stuffed otter, that was just awesome.

  • There was just this giant otter outside some store, and Lola just ran into it and hugged it. I made her do it again on camera. (:

  • Me too I agree, I am always analyzing my videos.

    But no its beautiful.

Post it as a response to my river video and i guarantee youll get views :D

  • Thanks, I will.

  • Shows LOTS of talent, Dirdle! Video, still shots, and music combo are 5 stars!

  • Yep, that was definitely the right call.

  • Liz, I like the Counting Crows version too, but I can't help comparing it to the original :)

  • Awesome video :) I really like the scenery and the little critters :)

  • The still shots are absolutely gorgeous. Enjoyed the variety of subjects, and think you captured the essense of the place very well.
