I was in that very same hotel a year ago, and it is truly amazing. The exterior is just as impressive as the interior. I actually know the designer of this hotel, personally...a very good friend of mine. The entire stay there was wonderful. And you are right, when the video was taken it was the tallest building in Shanghai. Now the tallest is Park Hyatt next to this hotel. And there will another one taller than that one soon.

Wow! What a great hotel. It is amazing to walk through Shanghai at night and see these buildings towering over me. One day I hope to make enough money to stay in these hotels, or own hotels of my own.
