The first stage of lying is when to lie. The usefulness of lying if you will. Remember what Machiavelli said, I never lie so that when I do people believe me.

OK so now everyone in the community thinks you are a truth teller because you never lie... the stage is set to lie.

Stage two of lying specifics and consistancy.

First imagine the lie in every detail as if it was a true thing that happened to you. Then tell everyone that exact lie.

I was late because my tier went flat at teh corner of web way and PCH... I had to pull into the chevron station and it too the guy there Jose i think his name was like 45 minutes to fix it. can you believe it cost 25 dollars to fix a tire, and you know i don't get phone service right there so i couldn't call... well anyway sorry I missed your dads funeral... really wish I could have been there...

Also weaving in some truthful facts like " not having cell coverage in that interception" or the actual cost of fixing a tire will help substantiate the lie.

Stage four of the lie, remember teh lie as a fact in your head and move on. Don't dwell or over think it. Like killing people in war time, It's something you have to do and move on don't let the lie consume you.
