240sx problems HELP

runs really rough...sounds like it has some valve clatter, almost sounds like its running on three pistons or its running really rich...temperature is at 120 after about four minutes of running at idle...if you know what is wrong help me out.

it could be an injector cause thats how mine sounded like when on of them fucked up but the cla cla cla sound well ive only heard it when my dads engine blew..hehe

sounds like piston slap cause by detonation or preignition check timing chain fuel spark oil pressure not oil level OIL PRESSURE maybe u have low oil pressure if your car has a lack of power check if timing is right make sure your not running rich or lean

Oh god, don't run it! sounds like a floated valve, or a fucked lifter. I don't think the Rod bearing would make such a clacking, you're exhaust is so loud you can't really hear it... Motor's probably toast by now XD

sr's don't have distributors... they have coil packs and an ignition chip.

sounds to me like a bad distributor... i had a similar problem about 5 months ago
