@Doakmiseter If you have to ask this, then you haven't done your homework! Watch the crowds, feel the history and investigate the interest. No republic on earth has this pageantry, and they spend far more on their presidents with little to gain in return, and even less global interest. This is not said for the British Monarchy and the people..
