great show. this program is chronically under viewed.

I love the Monopoly analogy. Doesn't get much clearer than that.
Whatever happened to the 'public airwaves'? Don't they belong to us?

You know, it's not really that bad not owning a TV. I got this computer for $70 on CL, and me and my girlfriend split the cost of internet with the 3 other neighbors in our apt. building. Sometimes that's the only way (besides voting) to combat these malicious natural monopolies.

these idiot libertarians are just plain stupid. this BS gov't made the monopoly of Comcast and MSNBC just isn't true. without government regulation, the monopoly exists. the monopolies need to be broken up, and that requires government.

Dan Gainor frames this argument as liberal-conservative. The real struggle is not left-right but up-down, between the wealthy and poor. History and the world today are little more than the moneyed interests stealing from and dominating the people.
