I really give them props for going out of their way to make these fan videos. It shows the impact that Star Trek had on people's lives over the years. Keeping the series alive, even if its though these web videos. It shows the amount of time and dedication people put into them.

And enough cracks just because they're Americans. I've seen PLENTY of overweight Brits, French, Japanese, Mexicans, in their own countries. Don't judge because of that, it's weak and makes you look cheap and shallow. As far as an amateur video, they did good based on what they have in resources considering budgets and the like. I would love to be in one of these if just for the opportunity to say I did one. Looks like a blast! Keep 'em coming, folks.

I appreciate these fans going to the effort of keeping the dream of star trek alive. The versions that appear on TV and in movies are too infrequent as they get bogged in the "hollywood" culture. The less fettered production by those who understand and which to convey the ideology of Gene Roddenberry is a welcome.

When taking that into consideration I can overlook the amateur flaws.
