Ryan Callahan is a dirty fucking mofo. Him Frans Nielsen doesnt do shit, and Callahan makes a dirty hit to the face. But hey, what can you expect, he is a blue skirt, and just like the rest of his team, he feels the need to sink lower then cow shit, to impress the rabid animals, or better known as their fan base.

I think he went for the hit and Callahan always goes for the hit. This time he missed and unfortunately got the guy high. He does not have a history of doing that either so thats why he got no fine or suspension.

No fine deserved. I'm not a Rangers fan, but you have to remember, the blindside hits apply to "east-west" hits, meaning forwards running parallel to the blue line hitting guys who don't have the puck. I'd say Nielsen had enough possession of the puck, and it was Nielsen who ran east west, not Callahan. This actually was a legal hit in my opinion, and an instance where when Nielsen gets back to the bench, he needs to be told to keep his head up out there.

Should've at least been fined. He's not a dirty player, but this is what the NHL made the blindside rule for. Enforce it or don't have it.

just to add also, nielsen did sort of put himself in a vulnerable position..Not trying to blame him here..but both players are at fault in a way..
