this video has a story to it - I had long wanted to overdub Marlene Dietrich's "Lazy Afternoon" to Kammerflimmer Kollektief's "Subnarkotisch", and the outcome is this track, with the addition of some incidental noise of me and my ex-lover "doing it".

the idea was then to shoot a short video of a lazy afternoon (the track makes me think of a desperate love affair), but we split before we actually filmed it - so I've decided to use it to pay homage to Fassbinder's QUERELLE, a movie I've watched quite a few times by now, and it always amazes me -- the first time when it was released, in 1982, and I was 15yo then -- I was struck, aroused and terrorized, and it has stayed deep within me.

This is a fanzine movie, not intended to infringe any copyrights - and it does contain SPOLIERS -- if you still haven't watched this amazing work of art, please do it!

It ends to an excerpt of the song sung by Jeanne Moreau in the movie.

If you wish to listen to the dubbed Dietrich track only, please go to:

Thanks for reading, thanks for watching.
