Tulle's Last Moments (Rat)

I had Tulle put to sleep on march 26th because her age was starting to have an impact on her. She was not herself anymore and wasn't well, so I had to say goodbye to her.

Tulle was my favourite out of the six rats I have had - I had four left when she was put so sleep so I now have three.
She was such a special animal - one of those rare pets you only have a handfull of through your life, that you bond with extra deeply, and I'm still completely heartbroken over her death.

She was so sweet and good-natured! Never aggressive and loved to cuddle and give kisses. She was only ever involved in fights when she stepped in to seperate the others; she was an excellent alpha (leader) of the cage! She was big and fat and smushy, and she loved to lazy around and eat the most delicious parts of the food, which is why she got so fat.

It was so hard to say goodbye to her, and even now I can't help but cry when I write about her. She was so special and I'll love her and miss her forever.

She looks just like the rat I had. I got him because my sister was abusing him. I never liked rats before then and I never thought I could love one. I just took him so he didnt have to suffer. It was the greatest thing ever. I loved him and he loved me. I had him for 2 great years until he passed away. I will always have a place in my heart for rats now. Yours is beautiful and Im sorry for your loss. RIP Tulle
