That final scene is so weird, darkly funny but also quite disturbing. I wish more writers were brave enough to do proper black comedy

Brilliantly acted all round, very uncomfortable to watch... this is what they meant when, on a wet afternoon they came up with the word 'Dromedy' or 'Comera' it's a perfect fusion of Drama and Comedy, whereby the man slips on a banana skin, but goes on to crack his skull. He can sing, too.

I've always felt that comedy shows get dated very quickly. Shows I loved at the time (R.Dwarf, Blackadder, Young Ones..) now seem pretty average. But, occasionally there will be a show that stands the test of time for me. Human Remains is certainly one of those. Just as good now as when it was first broadcast. Excellent.
