R.I.P. Eric Carr. Awesome Drummer. Too bad their music went
to this shit after he was only in the band a short-time. I'll bet he
hated this album as much as Ace.

Nobody really knows what was going on behind the scenes ( I've heard a bootleg of Dynasty where both Ace and Peter sound wasted though) but I don't like the fact that Peter Criss is gone and Ace is obviously already being slighted. That being said; Gene sounds FRIGGIN GREAT and Paul's vamping is classic as ever!

The Elder is one of the best KISS albums of all time, a progressive metal classic, just released at the wrong time in their teeny bopper period, when it should have been released in their non-makeup days and gotten the respect it deserves
