Beach Boys were over shadowed by The Beatles. The Beatles were influenced by The Beach Boys. Beach Boys were just as influential on bands. I hear their influence in all the decades that followed and even still. Of course, Led Zeppelin was an entity of its own as well but we all know that.

@OropherThranduil: that's "the nobs", not "the noobs". "Nob" is brit slang for penis, and is a joke name which Led Zeppelin booked themselves under during a sneak tour of bars and college campuses in England in the early 1970s. The poster is making a Led Zeppelin in-joke.

mc8lgm: uh, the beach boys are considered one of the best bands of all time, pet sounds one of the most important albums, brian wilson a genius songwriter and musician. therefore, i would not call jimmy a "WHORE" for jamming with them. in addition, jimmy says he did the puff daddy crap at the time for his kid. there was certainly nothing wrong with the guitar playing, it was the "singing" that was bad. ps it's spelled JIMMY not JIMI, DUHHHHH.
