We used to have one of these and yes it literally was hours of fun....at least until dad couldn't hear the tv. lol Our buttons actually wore and broke due to the hours upon hours of usage. I wish we still had it.
@mcl2462 Where do you live, do you have any large dogs or a home alarm system & finally, when are you going on your next vacation? Don't be suspicious, I am just curious, LOL. I'm only joking (sort of, haha) Seriously though, have you ever opened/played with it? Is it originally from your childhood, or did you pick it up later on in life? If I had it, I don't know if I have the willpower to keep it MIB/never check it out.
Dudes! This thing is cool as hell! I so wish i had 1 as a kid! FOr being a late 70's toy, I have to say, MEGO mad some pretty intricate stuff! This thing is amazing.
Actually, I have one of these sitting in my office as I type this. I have had STPB since 1974. I probably haven't touched it since 1975. It was really something until Atari came out with Pong and from there the VCS in the late 70's. I plan on cleaning it up and testing it before putting it on ebay.

I still have mine....pulled it out of the attic and it still worked. Amazing what passed for high tech entertainment back in the 70's.
