  • Sissy Spacek AND Loretta Lynn are American treasures. I love to hear both of them sing, and although similar, they are both still very unique. Thanks for posting this.

  • I love Sissy's voice!

  • i agree with Bluemoonlarry sissy is awsome

  • @dc2010ist The movie s on You Tube (or was) Have not checked recently

  • Sissy Spacek is simply the best. After watching her in "Coal Miner's Daughter" I though for sure that I hear more of Siisy on her own record label. I've compared the two singers (Sissy and Loretta ) often. I have to be honest here, Sissy sounds better then the original. Just a wonderful voice. Why hasn't an agent contacted her to do more? Thank you Sissy for giving us a little part of you.

  • @princessblue33 Loretta may have wrote it but Sissy does a better job at singing it.

  • @princessblue33 What is wrong with you??? Sissy spent months with Loretta, in preperation to play her. And she did an excellent job...you're the one thats "stupid".

  • Sissy is amazing x

  • i used to have the soundtrack

  • they did a wonderful job having sissy play loretta in the movie? i love her voice :)

  • (P.S.) You can "hyear" her pronounce it that way on "You're Lookin' At Country" :)

  • @woozleboo ...Thank you! My thoughts exactly! It bothers me how people are always saying one's better than the other. I'm definitely one of the biggest Loretta Lynn fans on the planet, but I can respect Sissy's voice too. She'd make a great singer if she wasn't an actress. But she's actually TRYING to sound like Loretta when she sings Loretta's songs. For instance, the way she pronounces the word "here" as "hyere"...the way Loretta has pronounced it her whole life.
