If you smoke in public space , recently in Japan (especially Tokyo), the penalty would be taken from you (or be arrested), and might not be permitted to you to come to Japan again by the airport examination.

最近では、場合によっては逮捕・罰金が科せられますので、注意した方が良いです。
逮捕歴があると入国禁止措置が採られる場合があります。
