If you ever intend to hone your skills at fiddling, guitar, keys, bagpipes, tin whistle, mando, bass, bones, voice, bombard...this is the place for you. If you are a Ukelele player, too bad, they've never offered that. They might some day tho. OR, if you want to learn or take part in square dancing, contras, english dancing, sword dancing, stilt walking, or calling a dance, this is the place...but it suddenly comes to mind that they have never offered to teach hula dancing. Oh well, most of us don't have the skirt anyway. OR other stuff that goes on is canoe building, kite making, roti baking, pottery, wool dying and spinning, paper/card making, painting and fairy house making, this too, has all happened here. But they've never taught perogy making. maybe next year. Anyway, this is a very unique concept in family friendly camping orchestrated by Pat O'Gorman and Julie Schryer on St. Joseph Island, Ontario. Even the young campers are immersed in art, dance and music. The food is beyond excellent, for carnies and veggies and lactose intolerants alike. But I end with a warning, this camp is highly addictive.
