Maybe you noticed that I didn't exactly like the book either or did you think that calling something a "generic rehash" as I wrote in my first post is a compliment? @WeNeedSomeGolfShoes The speculation was as to whether or not the Old Man's War movie will be made. They don't make 'em like Eastwood or Tommy Lee Jones anymore.

i didn't finish my Comment, i read this book and the forever war consecutively on advice of my dad, and i preferred this, maybe because i read the forever war forever peace and w/e the other pile of shit was (the one what really spoiled it); but i honestly think this and the forever war are just such amazing books :)

great review but i just have one problem and it's very minor. you sead that in starship troopers there was only one kind of alien the bugs. there were acrually 2 the bugs and skinnies. like i said it's just a minor gripe.
