my degu do the same way what ur but when its afraid or hears new voices in home or feels new persons ;) sometimees she wakes me pu in the night, when she hears somebody comming ot home ;D

@cyberwolf1998 Tell me about it :P When i get up in the night sometime. Both my Degus go crazy cause they think its an predator! xP But they usualy stop when I go greet them :)
And tonight one of them probly had a bad dream, she was barking non stop, but at the same time she had those cute sleepy eyes! Like falling in an out of sleep, poor thing :P

Tom is not barking or crying. It is a post-coital squeak. :) It was not a fight between Tom and Billy, but rather Tom 'letting off some steam' shall we say. It is not uncommon, or unhealthy- it happens. We've heard it from all male cages, as well as male/female when breeding.
