This would only require a Private Pilot which is is only 40 hours training. You can get a Sport Pilot or Recreation Pilot which is even less training, but probably would not be adequate to operate this craft with passengers.

Wha? What? You can't advocate a flying car without advertising the need of at least 500h of flight training before going solo. Not only that, Airmenship would be non-existant.
