Project for Awesome 2011: The Motherbear Project

The Motherbear Project is a nonprofit organization that accepts hand knit or crochet teddy bears and sends them to children in Africa and Haiti. Many of these children have been affected directly or indirectly by HIV/AIDS. These bears send a message of love and hope. If you don't craft, there are still plenty of ways to help.
