This continuous ink system comes with no chips, so we had to take the chips off the original HP cartridges and use superglue (a few drops only) to attach it onto the CISS. Be sure to NOT install the air filters when you install the cartridges into the printer! Place the ink tanks at a lower level than the printer itself to prevent the ink from overflowing out from the bottom of the cartridges. Be sure to route the ink lines properly. If it is too long, it can get caught in the printer carriage. If it is too short, it can pull on the ink cartridges and cause it to move, thus causing the chips to not be recognized.

In this video, we photo copied a picture and put paper settings to "photo premium". As you can see, we had fantastic results! We only carry HIGH QUALITY ink!

Get them at www.cisinks.com! We have the best customer service support out there!

  • Do we lost the ink level forever or will we recover the ink level if we put original cartridges?

  • @centaure974 Since you are using original HP cartridges, your ink levels will remain low. However, this will not 'lock' your printer up and cause you to stop printing. Your printer will 'warn' you that you are printing on low level ink cartridges.

  • how do you install??? i need your hel please¡

  • @Charlydestination Sorry for the late response! Check out what I explained to Lisaann7451. Hope this helps out!

  • how do install this darn thing???? please if you can help me that would be great

  • @lisaann7451 We haven't made a video (yet) on how to remove your original chips and install it onto our CIS system. However, we did make a video on how to remove the chips on a HP 8000, HP 8500 that we recently posted up. You would have to remove the chips in a similar way and attach it onto the system with either super glue or double-sided tape (which we recommend over the other). Then route the tubing as shown in the video and you should be good to go!

  • @stogiask I don't believe you have to reset them. You can try refilling it yourself and test it out.
