@charissamarluk: Feb. 28, 2011 - Chicago (far SW Side): They are back indeed! Saw hundreds arriving a couple of weeks ago in one of our many local cemeteries and even more today! Such an awesome sight! Both times they came in between 5 and 6 pm around sunset! Usually the males arrive first, so I assume these were the females we saw tonight -- soon there will be singing in the middle of the nights! :>)

Great video. I had the same experience this week outside of Chicago. The noise level was astounding and the trees and ground were covered by robins. I had no idea that they migrated in groups. I count myself among the lucky few to have witnessed them. At least, after seeing your video, I know I'm not nuts.

Thanks for your response! I was pretty surprised to see so many Robins down here in Missouri. Pretty cool that other people who've seen them migrating have been able to find and watch this little video :)

i am also in chicago and it is 2011 now.
we just last week had the 22 inch snowstorm.
the robins are back in the hundreds of thousands !!
