  • Objectivity!

  • Yea chill guys! Harmony :)

  • Harmony :)

  • @Mal1234567 I don't know why you would assume I am saying something stupid.

  • @ResonantC It's necessary to distinguish intellectual harmony (intellectual intuitive way of thinking) from social harmony. Yes, I've tried to achieve intellectual harmony, that's my way of thinking about things. But that's not what Hile is talking about.

  • @Mal1234567 Have you ever tried?

  • @ResonantC You're oversimplifying thinking as equivalent to clarity. At the very beginning of this video Hile stated the basic difference as "objective" vs. "subjective" decision-making. "Clarity" is just not "the first thing you get," or let's say, it is not foremost in the mind of the subjective feeler. But you really can't engage both modes at the same time. Hile is talking about preferences. They don't and can't seek both harmony and clarity "at the same time," not usually, and not ever.

  • This is a horrible oversimplification. Thinkers and Feelers both engage both modes of thought, usually at the same time. The only difference is that the Feeler *might* prefer the 'harmony' answer, if it's not in too much conflict with the 'clarity' one. If there is such a conflict, it comes down to cost-benefit analysis - for both types.

  • Hile is the best trainer for MBTI I have seen. I took his class at Fairfax virginia for the MBTI Practioners course

  • Thanks so much for these videos. Your understanding and illustrations of these principles are incredibly illuminating.
