To many the Alarm Clocks were the highlight of the Wooly Weekend garage festival held in Montreal from August 6 to 8, 2009. The band broke up in 1967 but before that managed to record one single "Yeah!" / "No Reason To Complain" which quickly became a must have among 1960's garage collectors when it appeared Crypt Records 1996 compilation Back From The Grave. In 2006 the band reunited, played some shows, recorded a new record The Time Has Come out on Norton Records and eventually made up to the Wooly Festival. Other bands that played the festival included the Electric Prunes, ? and the Mysterians, the Gruesomes, the A-Bones (featuring two members who founded Norton Records), the Higher State, the Nashville Ramblers, Muck & the Myres, to name a few. Hopefully there will be a Wooly Weekend 2010.
