Vermont Local Roads held its first workshop addressing the use of Compost for erosion control and financial savings at the Winooski Public Works Facility on October 14, 2010. The Composting Association of Vermont partnered with Local Roads to present the four-hour training session. In this clip Brian Jerose, of WASTE NOT Resource Solutions, shows class attendees the ability of compost to improve the physical properties of a clay soil.
