Due to the great Paul Newmans death recently, I was reminded of how immortal the movie legends are. Even though they die like the rest of us, they are forever preserved on film. Marilyn Monroe and James Dean died well over fifty years ago, but they are far from dead in our minds. Every movie legend will be watched and adored in their performances for eternity.
So, here is a tribute to the legends with the cause and age of their death. I know there are many missing, that is because I believe that the ones Ive included are the most worthy of the word legend. They have made the mark on film. It is a shame that people think just because and actor or actress appeared in classic films it makes them a legend- far from it.
Before someone says anything, Lauren Bacall, Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Olivia deHavilland and Kirk Douglas arent in it because they are all still alive.
I hope you enjoy it- as I was researching for this video many of their deaths came as a shock. The music is from the war classic form 1978, The Deer Hunter.

SO, if you only made the one mistake about Willaim Powell, you did a GREAT job! Maybe because the info you got in your research messed up. I believe that Powell was retired for many years from the industry, and most confuse that with being dead! As if an actor/actress has a right to a retirement! The music was perfect! Thank you for putting this together for us all!
