6 Months - Hey Monday Tabs

i have no idea if the chords are right, so tell me if something sounds funny. this is just how i play it. it seems that every website and video out there uses different chords, especially for that A sus4(add9) chord. ive even seen that chord being played as just a straight D major so, just, do whatever sounds right to you.

standard tuning.
strumming pattern: D---DDU-UD-DUDU
the strumming pattern is hard at first so practice it slow. there are some really good videos on youtube that can help you learn this pattern, so look around if you need help. (it might also be D---DDU-UD-D-DU. i learned is at the above first but sometimes during this sound it sounds like this! so do whatever is easier)

most of the chords don't use the low E string. you can just aim for the bottom strings or muffle the E with your thumb. or just play through with the E but some of the chords will sound horrible lol. during the intro (and anytime that repeats) i just use the 4 highest strings.

does anyone else absolutely love the way the chorus changes from the A sus4 to A? i love it lol. im rambling.

i tried to help you out by putting in where it changes from the pattern to just plain downstrokes, just in case you're lazy and didn't feel like listening for it yourself! :P i hope it helps. the 'downish strokes' is where it sounds like '1-and-a 2-and-a'. with accents on the '1' and the 'and'. like, D-DU. if that made no sense to you just play downstrokes lol
