What if Fred Astaire performed his own routine for Michael Jackson's Billie Jean? Thanks to video editing, we can find out. Here's what I came up with.

You are one clever git! I could believe that fred recorded this song, based on this video. Be proud of yourself, you are talanted!

  • I really appreciate that, man. Thanks!

  • A TRUELY MAGICAL VIDEO- I GIVE IT 12STARS OUT OF 10! I could not stop laughing because it is so amazing how Fred Astaire's mesmerizing dance moves just fit so perfectly with MJ's "Billie Jean", truely magnificent.

I can really see how Michael was influenced by Mr. Astaire. Now,I can almost visualize MJ, Fred , James Brown, Sammy Davis Jr. and Gene Kelly all dancing , from cloud to cloud, up in Heaven. WHAT A SIGHT TO BEHOLD.

    THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES.

  • I'm glad you enjoyed it!

  • I know this is an old comment and I'm probably making myself a target for personal insults, but I feel the need to clear this up: Michael did NOT say that he slept in the same bed with children. He said he shared his bed with them, by which he meant that he let them have his bed while he slept on the floor in a sleeping bag. There's a big difference.

I admit that I have had my doubts about Michael in the past, but based on FACTS that I've since learned, I have come to believe he was innocent.

  • Quote from Fred Astaire himself "Oh, God! That boy moves in a very exceptional way. Thats the greatest dancer of the century. "

    Enough said!

  • I don't think MJ ever professed to being the greatest dancer on earth. I think he has always honored his mentors. The bottom line is, MJ not only duplicated the masters, he became a master himself!

  • @JakAndKeiraFan I hate admitting it, but I thought he was guilty- who couldn't w/ what the media presented? After a TON of reading & research, when faced with the facts, court docs, original police files, etc. I thought; 'This doesn't add up!' Not only is there 'NO evidence to support molestation, but evidence indicates that he IS innocent.' Now my HEART was in TURMOIL! How could someone be treated like this? HOW? MJ was & STILL is a victim of BULLYING! I will NEVER view the media the same way!

  • MJ definitely learned from the best.

  • Michael Jackson got the moonwalk which is the most famous dance out of all his dances from "Jeffrey Daniel" it was originally called the "the backslide".

MJ was a big fan of Soul Train in which Jeffrey Daniel had been a back-up dancer. According to Jackson's sister La Toya, Jackson was a fan of Daniel's dancing and sought him out. He soon met, hired and learned from Daniel.

  • FANTASTIC editing!
