Zuppa Di Clams... Make sure you scrub the clams well and look for and remove the muddy and empty ones. Some people argue that you shouldn't soak the clams. . . But, I DO. Some people argue that you should soak them over night. . . I don't. Sometimes I add Oatmeal to the bowl I am soaking the clams in. I heard that it helps, but to tell you the truth, I'm not sure.
Discard ANY that don't open after cooking. This recipe works well with Mussels.
( A little secret, I use "good" jarred sauce for this MOST of the time ).

They are a Band out of Santa Barbara Ca. that I got turned onto about 10 years ago when my oldest attended College there.
