"To save your brother in trouble, where will you go ? .."
A little more than two years an a half ago, I started learning 3D thanks to Blender with a project in mind. The project is dead but I kept learning. Two months after starting, I did an animation called Space Oddity, my very first (-second-) attempt at doing a 3D short (somewhere on my channel). Two years later, I thought it'd be cool to go back to space and tell an other story, with new things I've learned so far. The "trailer" is everything, there's no reel S-O 2 coming.
Done in Blender (+ Gimp) , rendered with blender's internal rendering engine.

The soundtrack uses Michael Giacchino's music, and movie lines.

Tom, this is amazing! How are you doing? I'm still working on the script for the BIONICLE film. We wanted things to change in the story and such so I've been working more on it :)

The Space Station ? nope, this my own job ;) I even used some parts of the station I made for the first Space Oddity video (Mainly the center part, on the foreground, solar panels on the background and other structures)

Hey, could you do a tutorial (or tutorial series), which would tell us how to make something like that. I mean all the steps from preproduction to production to post production. There aren't video tuts that explains everything for person who wants to do something like that for first time. Oh, and amazing work as always :)

Also, just a note, you spelled the song "Appolo 18"... I believe "Appolo" is spelled Apollo, but I could be wrong, in this case. Just something to take into account, in case you submit this in a professional portfolio, or to a film festival, or something (which you should). Keep it up.
