@pat6270 You should make sure that the fabric is very tight and put an industrial amount of weight all around the outer bottom.It should last at least 2 winters, but not more than that. The fabric that covers the framework is as thick as a regular tarp.Also if you don't clean it up religiously you'll end up with a cave-in GUARANTEED...

@coolbluelights The best cover pipe to my knowledge (That's what I've done on my first one) is any heavy pipe filled with concrete.Some people use sand bags all around so the wind doesn't catch under the shelter and pull on the anchors until it creates a parachute effect, followed by a lift off or removal of the shelter from point A to point who knows. It is still an expensive piece of crap. The fabric is about the thickness of a 10 dollars tarp and will rip as soon you forget to clean it...

@coolbluelights thx
What the fuck is a cover pipe lol. Just put one up. Check out my video. How long did yours last? The roll up door is awful and the instructions are worst. Enjoyed your vid.

@7863348 mine's still up, the tarp is starting to rip a little in places and the roll up door sucks, but it keeps my VW, tractors and snowmobile dry

I've done some researches and the top of the line cover (only) is $787 US.part number is 151116 for the white one and 151114 for the hunter green.They guarantee them 12 to 20 years and the price doesn't include shipping from Connecticut witch would be a little expensive to my liking. who would pay 2 gran for a temporary shelter?

@1899lpv I don't call 12-20 years temporary lol I'm using mine to store my classic VW and some lawn tractors

Thanks for the vid. 2 questions though....because I think i'm going to be getting the same model
1) did you ever find out what they meant by "cover pipe"?
2) I wouldn't be able to anchor this thing into the ground because it's going on a paved surface. It's very windy where I live. Would this thing survive in a windy environment if just place on top of pavement?

@pat6270 if you don't anchor it there's a good chance it could blow away if the wind gets under it... I think by cover pipe they meant the pipes that you put through the sleeves in the cover
