This is a video of the entire San Francisco Cable Car ride on the Powell-Hyde Line in 2009.
The Ride starts near downtown San Francisco Union Square on Powell Street, and ends up at Aquatic Park, near Ghirardelli Square, and walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf.
You have the option to ride standing up at the edge of the cable car, and be a few inches from oncoming cable cars. You do encounter some very steep hills and it can be an interesting experience for those who are not used to it.
