This my my Brother Bill Butts and this shows him just minutes after I told him I'm giving his Mustang back to him.
Darn I wish I had had the camera on his face when he opened the case and saw his old guitar that he bought used in 1966. Missed that oppurtunity!
As he mentions, He had not played it since 1968 or so and he was just a little bit rusty but he is the reason I play guitar at all and this Mustang is the reason that I am a Fender man only.
I'm going to do a little work on it before I box it up and send it to him as he lives out of state now.
There's just something that feels right about somebody getting an instrument back that they bought almost 45 years ago. Looks like he liked playing it also huh?
By the way. He was in a band in the 1960's in Jacksonville Fl. called "The growing confusion" How appropiate that name would be in the time we're living in now?
He does'nt know I'm posting this. He'll find out now. He he he he
This was recorded on 10-29-2010. Two days after his 60th birthday and one before my 50th. It was also the first time that we had ever sat down and played guitars together but unfortanately I didn't record any of that. This moment was that special to me.
I love you big brother, ROCK ON!
I'm getting a '68 mustang in a little while, I'm really excited about it, best guitar I've ever played.

That's a great thing to do man, respect, 65 mustangs are great! I could tell he loved being reunited with it by the smile on his face and the soul in his playing! If I was ever reunited with one of my guitars I'd break out in tears haha
