this is our advanced no music hornpipe. its pretty self explanitory. we keep the beat by the sounds of our feet using our fiber-glass shoes. i dont know of any other troupe that does this.

  • A feis is an irish dance competition.

  • were a non competitive dance troupe. we just love to dance. and thanks for the constructive criticism! thats the big thing this season. were really working on that.

as far as organizations, were a traveling group. basically our only title is Anne O'Connell's Irish American Step Dancers

  • well theres our problem! i've never heard of a feis but they may have?

  • very good :) however, i'd recomend that you encourage the kids to cross their feet over whilst dancing, turn out their feet and perhaps join an organisation if you guys wanted to compete :)

  • Work on crossing while dancing so the feet don't straighten out while dancing. Good job on being loud on hardshoe. What organization does your school belong to?

  • Lovely kids. They start with their feet crossed, then completely straighten them out when dancing. Is this a different form of Irish dancing? Have any of these kids been to a feis to watch others?
